Brooke Rivero-Lordan

Brooke has been passionate about dance since her first dance lesson at the age of 3. She was trained at Dance Arts Centre in Connecticut as a competitive dancer, where she studied ballet, jazz, tap, acrobatics, and lyrical. Brooke competed at various regional and national dance competitions such as American Dance Awards, Dance Master’s of America, Starpower, and Dance Explosion, where she danced in numerous numbers awarded top talent and choreography rankings. At age 16, Brooke became Teen Miss Connecticut, representing the Miss America Scholarship Organization, winning 1st place in talent and interview. Brooke continued to perform and compete with the Miss America Scholarship Organization winning 6 local titles from 2002 to 2008, where she again placed in talent and interview. As one of the founders of HOD, Brooke has spent the last 10 years as an integral part of the dance program. Brooke also founded and developed the competitive program at House of Dance, and has been recognized as a top choreographer at Regional and National competitions.  She continues to remain part of the HOD family recreationally and competitively and enjoys seeing her students excel year to year.
