House Rules
1.) Only proper dance shoes or clean street sneakers with rubber soles are allowed in the studios.
2.) Acting with respect towards myself and the people around me, including my instructors, and other dancers at HOD.
3.) Displaying good sportsmanship and refraining from boasting and speaking negatively about members of other studios and other dancers.
4.) In the event that a dancer will be tardy or absent to a class they are registered for, they must call ahead to inform the instructor.
5.) If arriving late to a class, dancers must knock before entering either studio.
6.) No Food or Sports Drink of any kids can be brought into the Dance studios. Only Water is permitted.
7.) HOD IS A PHONE FREE ZONE. All phones/Apple Watches/Tabelts are to be left at home or in bags at all times unless doing homework in the lobby in between classes. This is grounds for dismissal of class for the day. If this happens more then once, this can mean dismissal from HOD entirely.
8.) No crop tops or mid drifts showing in any classes / sports bras as tops

Ballet
• REQUIRED SHOE WEAR: Ballet shoes – Capezio “Hanami” Canvas Split Sole Ballet Slipper – Light Pink
• Leotard – black
• Tights- pink tights footed or convertible style
• Hair in bun
• Optional items – ballet sweater, ballet skirt, leg warmers
Jazz
• REQUIRED SHOE WEAR: Bloch’s “Neo Flex” Slip-On Jazz Shoes — Tan
• Black Leotard
• Black leggings or black dance shorts

Contemporary/Modern/Lyrical

Hip Hop/Breakin’
• REQUIRED SHOE WEAR: Grades 5 and under: Black & White Chuck Taylor All-Star style sneakers used for indoors-only
• Moveable clothing such as shorts, leggings, yoga pants, dance pants, tanks, t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc.

Cancellation Policy
In the event that a class is not good fit for your/son or daughter – House of Dance is happy to offer a non-expiring/ credit towards a future class, birthday party, private lesson and more! This credit is non-transferable
Missed Classes Policy:
In the event that a student is sick, traveling or will be absent, we will be happy to set up a Make-Up Class
10 Session – One Make Up Class Permitted
Full Year – Three Make Up Classes Permitted
Inclement Weather:
In the event of inclement weather, classes may be canceled or rescheduled for the safety of our staff and students. Updates will be communicated via email, and social media.
